Café Rouge partnerships drive footfall in quiet dayparts

Café Rouge has been driving growth in challenging late afternoon day parts through seasonal afternoon tea offers developed with a range of brand partnerships.

The partnerships aim to attract a range of different consumers into its sites across the country.

Over the festive period, Café Rouge partnered with Penguin Ventures to launch The Snowman afternoon tea, inspired by the Raymond Briggs classic. The tea comprised a Festive Croque with pigs in blankets; ‘Snowy’ scones; moreish S’mores cheesecake; Christmassy carrot cake; and white chocolate mousse topped with a white chocolate ‘Snowball’.

Following the success of this activity, Café Rouge launched a Vegan Afternoon Tea (pictured) in partnership with Veganuary.

In addition, the Casual Dining Group brand recently launched ‘the world’s first cheese hotel’ – The Cheese Suite – in partnership with boutique apartment platform Cuckooz.

“We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional customer experience and are constantly looking at innovative ways we can evolve our offer to get new customers through the door,” says Jacqueline Fletcher, head of marketing at Café Rouge. “Looking ahead, we’re determined to continue evolving our offer and identifying new partnerships that complement our high quality and drink offer.”
