Seabird and Rondo launch late-night menus

In an effort to encourage late-night trading amid the latest wave of Covid-19 restrictions on the hospitality industry, restaurants Seabird (pictured) and Rondo have launched late-night express menus.

Both venues will serve the limited menu at 9pm, with diners finishing the meal by 10pm, in accordance with the latest government guidelines for operators.

Guests must pre-book and pre-pay for their meals in advance of arrival.

Seabird’s menu in The Hoxton, Southwark, includes two oysters; croquettas, octopus roll and chips; cheesecake and a glass of wine for £45 per person.

Rondo – which is newly opened at The Hoxton, Holborn – has collaborated with Will Lander from Quality Chop House to create its ‘Rapid Rabbit’ express menu.

It will cost £50 for two people, and includes the restaurant’s wild rabbit and bacon pie, chips, and cabbage, plus a carafe of house wine.

Guests can purchase a refillable bottle of one of Rondo’s four house wines on tap to take home to continue their experience after 10pm.
