Promoted Content: Wi5 unlocks new revenue streams for operators

Mobile order-and-pay specialist Wi5 has made a move to remove all monthly subscription fees - for good - and instead charge some of the lowest transaction rates in the industry.

Gavin Peters, CMO of Wi5, comments: "We recognise that the versatility of mobile ordering has proven to be a lifeline for many hospitality operators, allowing them to adapt to ever-changing measures and restrictions. Everyone at Wi5 wants to see the industry thrive, which is why we have made our platform even more accessible to all operators - from enterprise brands to independent businesses. Our ever-growing portfolio of clients and volume of orders going through Wi5 means we're now in a privileged position of being able to remove subscription fees and charge the lowest transaction fees".

Wi5 also noted that many hospitality operators have been able to use their mobile ordering solution to set up food collection services quickly, enabling them to continue to trade throughout lockdown safely. This has provided an additional revenue stream now, and in the future as venue capacity likely remains reduced through social distancing measures.   With takeout regulations now relaxed until 2022, it makes sense to explore takeaway as a longer-term strategy, which is why the company created a free guide packed with tips and advice on adapting to a new way of servicing customers.

"There's never been a better time to embrace the opportunities mobile Order & Pay will bring". Peters continues. "With our all-time low fees, extensive support and ever improving software,, we're confident Wi5 can support hospitality businesses now and long into the future."
