EXCLUSIVE: Consumers choose most loved drinks
Dine Out has once again been given exclusive access to the Top 100 Most Loved Drinks Brands, as voted for by the general public.
Based on responses from 48,000 UK adults aged 18-74, consumers were interviewed online from 1 January 2021 to 30 June 2021 in order to discover which drinks brands they admire the most.
The report, which can now be downloaded for free by Dine Out readers, is based on data from BrandVue Drinks, Savanta’s market intelligence platform, which analyses all the major drinks categories – beer, cider, wine (including Champagne and sparkling wine), spirits, soft drinks, ready-to-drinks and hard seltzers, and low- and no-alcohol drinks.
Following the equivalent of 8,000 interviews per month (and more than 250 per day), the Top 100 offers operators rich and detailed data about the behaviour and attitudes of UK drinks buyers towards 347 of the UK’s best-known drinks brands during the first six months of this year.
Savanta’s full report lists the UK’s Top 100 drinks brands overall, so beers can be compared with wine and spirit brands, for example. It also compares responses by region, by different demographic subgroups as well as by category and supplier.
