Second Black Bear Burger restaurant confirmed

Black Bear Burger is expanding, confirming the opening of a second sit down restaurant in Exmouth Market.

The company already runs from three locations across the capital, including two stalls and one existing bricks and mortar venue in Brixton. The new Exmouth Market site will span two floors and offer 45 covers. The brand is taking over a site formerly held by Dirty Burger, with the venue undergoing a complete restyle with an open kitchen, cocktail bar and outdoor space for al fresco dining.

The extended menu will include the brand's popular brisket spring rolls, patty melt sando and signature bourbon BBQ wings. The hero burgers, the Black Bear and Brisket Burger, are joined by fried chicken and vegan options. Guests will also be able to enjoy weekly rotating specials.

Much like the Brixton Village restaurant, the Exmouth Market site will offer a full drinks menu including cocktails, beers and low intervention wines. A collaboration Pilsner with Pillars Brewery, barrel-aged Negronis and maple old fashioned will also be avaiable. A complimentary custard-based soft serve will be served with the bill.

To mark the new opening, Black Bear Burger will be offering 50% off food from 26–29 May.

Stew Down, Black Bear Burger co-founder, comments: "We've always loved the buzz of Exmouth Market and it has been a regular haunt of ours so we're really excited to be opening our second restaurant here.

"The feedback from our Brixton restaurant has been really positive and we plan to recreate the same vibe in Exmouth Market."
