Individual Restaurants named among 100 Best Places to Work

Individual Restaurants, owner and operator of Restaurant Bar & Grill, Piccolino and Riva Blu, has been named in the Sunday Times 100 Best Places to Work, with the business being recognised for its commitment to team development. 

The award recognises organisations that have consistently high levels of employee experience and wellbeing in the UK. The privately owned group has invested greatly in employees over the past few years, dedicated to establishing a positive work environment for staff. 

Through effective training, development and the introduction of new initiatives, such as enhanced maternity and paternity packages, long service awards and more, the group has seen a reduction in team turnover by almost 60% and happiness engagement scores have continued to grow year on year as a result. 

Accreditations

This work has been recognised through the awards, as the group has received accreditations from WorkL for the 'Happiest Workplace' and 'Best for Development' with a happiness score of 89% from the independent survey. 

Individual Restaurants attributes its success to its commitment to fostering a culture that recognises talent and promotes professional development. This can be seen through the introduction of the high performers programme, which recognises homegrown talent. Through this initiative, employees gain management and leadership skills, granting them the opportunity for progression. 

On top of strengthening internal policies, the group also works with a number of external partners to champion wellbeing in the workplace, introducing the 'Hospitality Heroes' scheme to focus on team wellbeing and satisfaction.
