Beefeater arrives in Stoke Gifford

Serving steak to UK consumers since 1974, Whitbread-owned brand Beefeater has arrived in Stoke Gifford as its new restaurant, The Gifford, opens to the public.

Located near Filton Retail Park and adjoining a Premier Inn, the menu offers 30-day dry-aged steaks, burgers, signature classics and Sunday roasts with bottomless Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes.

All steaks are sourced from British and Irish farms, including 10oz ribeye steaks and hand-crafted burgers made using quality flank cuts, as well as chuck and short rib with a touch of bone marrow. Other highlights include the '74 range with dishes such as BBQ glazed pork ribs, along with a selection of vegetarian and vegan choices.

The classics

For a taste of the classics, guests can tuck into traditional fish and chips, beef and ale pie or smothered chicken. Regarding desserts, dishes such as warm apple pie and sundaes of Biscoff or chocolate churros are available. The restaurant will offer a daytime deal with a choice of eight mains under £8 each or an evening set menu from £16.45 for two courses (£18.45 for three), available Monday to Friday from 5pm.

Early risers can enjoy Beefeater's unlimited cooked or continental breakfast from £10.99, with children eating for free. At the bar, the drinks menu is packed with beers, wine and cocktails. Two for £12 cocktails are available every day from 5pm to 9pm, with disco-inspired serves including the Blue Hawaiian, Passionfruit Martini and non-alcoholic Nina Colada.

The expansive restaurant includes a statement bar and large group dining tables, plus an outdoor terrace for alfresco drinking and dining.
