New hotel to launch in Fitzrovia

Taking up residence in the heart of Fitzrovia, The Newman is a new hotel set to open next summer, featuring an all-day European restaurant and underground bar.

Brasserie Adeline will be a contemporary all-day brasserie serving classic comfort dishes. Northern European influences will be threaded through its menu, which will showcase techniques such as curing and smoking.

The restaurant will offer 76 covers in a dining room full of natural light, with an additional 24 covers accommodated in a separate bar and a street-side terrace for alfresco dining. A bespoke sandwich trolley will cover the floor at lunchtime, offering quick light bites for guests. 

The hotel will also house Gambit Bar, serving creative yet understated cocktails, a comprehensive selection of low- and no-alcohol options and a handful of local craft beers on tap. It will offer a succinct menu of bar snacks, designed to pair with the drinks menu. 

The Newman is the first venture from Kinsfolk & Co, a new London-based hospitality management company. The organisation was founded by Paul Brackley in 2023.
