Vetro Lounge confirmed as first Forge Island restaurant

Vetro Lounge has been announced as the first food and drink venue to open at Rotherham’s flagship Forge Island leisure destination.

When it opens on Wednesday, 30 April, Vetro Lounge, part of the Loungers family, will serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks. It will also offer full kids', gluten-free, and vegan menus.

Vetro Lounge—pronounced 'vaytro', the Italian word for glass, in a nod to Rotherham's glassmaking heritage—will join the already open Arc Cinema and Travelodge at Forge Island. Further announcements are expected soon.

“We’re so looking forward to opening the doors of Vetro Lounge at the end of April," says John English, head of community at Loungers. "We hope our family-friendly environment and top-notch food and drink offering will prove popular with local residents and visitors."
