Andaz London launches Breakfast Club
Andaz London Liverpool Street is embracing East London food culture with its new Breakfast Club series.
Nestled beside Liverpool Street Station, Rake’s Café Bar is part of Andaz London. The bar draws inspiration from the 1733 fictional tale of Tom Rakewell, famously depicted in William Hogarth's eight-part painting series, A Rake’s Progress.
The most important meal of the day
Kicking off the Breakfast Club on 1 April is an exclusive takeover by HOKO, the Hong Kong-inspired Brick Lane spot known for bringing old-school cha chaan teng classics to the capital.
For six weeks, guests and visitors alike can get their hands on HOKO’s legendary Hong Kong French Toast (£8) – a street food favourite reimagined. Made with thick slices of soft white bread, stuffed with peanut butter, dipped in egg batter, fried until golden and drizzled with sweet condensed milk, served alongside strong Hong Kong milk tea.
Breakfast Club continues on 15 May with a takeover by breakfast giant Eggslut. The brand will serve a selection of its bestsellers, including the Fairfax Sandwich, Bacon Egg and Cheese and Hashbrowns, available on the Rakes menu and via room service.
"This is an exciting partnership as we continue to grow our corporate lifestyle brands," says Natasha Grech, head of partnerships at Eggslut.
"Andaz is known for pushing boundaries in hospitality, and Eggslut is here to do the same for breakfast—so this collab just makes sense. Together, we’re bringing something bold, fresh and completely unmissable, keeping Eggslut at the forefront as London’s leading gourmet breakfast chain."
