Loungers launches rebranded Cosy Club in Reading

Loungers has unveiled its latest Cosy Club in Reading, which opened on 14 May.

It is the first new site to open with the reimagined look and branding, and the second in the group following Manchester’s transformation in April.

Brand-new look

The new cinematic interior scheme is the vision of Cassie Nicholas, winner of the BBC’s Interior Design Masters. She and her team have created and produced one-off wallpapers, fabrics, light fittings, seating and carpets. Even the fixtures in the bathrooms have been designed and produced to a bespoke colourway, unique to Cosy Club.

Continuing the transformation in the kitchen is a newly elevated menu of modern British classics and Cosy Club specials, created in collaboration with award-winning chef and TV personality John Hooker.

Cosy Club’s updated brand identity includes a new logo, a retro-infused staff uniform – a first for the group – and refined service rituals designed to enhance the guest experience.

Lucy Knowles, MD of Cosy Club, says: “The new look Cosy Club is quite a departure from what we have done before. We've really ramped up the glamour, sophistication and opulence, introducing warmer, softer and more elegant interiors inspired by the timeless aesthetics of the 1970s and '80s.

“This is the most radical change to Cosy Club since it burst onto the scene back in 2010. We have always known how to party, look after our guests and give them excellent food and drink, only now, it’s even more special.”
