Burger & Beyond announce summer collab

Fresh from their 10th anniversary celebrations, London restaurant brand Burger & Beyond will team up with hospitality titans Tom Brown (Pearly Queen, Tom Brown at the Capital) and Richard H. Turner (Turner & George, Meatopia & Blacklock) on a brand-new collaboration, introducing the 'Iberico pork & prawn pan de cristal'.

The ultimate sandwich

Fusing Brown's seafood skills with Turner's meat and butchery prowess, the one-month-only collab dish offers the duo's take on the famous Spanish pan de cristal. The narrow, crusty-bread sandwich was developed in Barcelona, Spain, around 2010 by baker Jordi Nomen of Concept Pa Bakery, and is served with a side of dipping sauce or gravy.

The exclusive special features Iberico pork, prawns, chilli, garlic, aioli, Ossau-Iraty cheese, hot honey and slaw, served with a pork jus for dipping. It will be on the menu across all Burger & Beyond sites – in Shoreditch, Soho and Borough Yards – from 1 to 30 June and is priced at £17.50.
