Bailey confirms second site for Heard

Following the success of its recent opening in Borough, Heard, the elevated burger restaurant from two-Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey, will launch a new site in Foubert’s Place, Soho, in September.

Bailey, whose fine dining career spans the three Michelin-starred Maaemo in Oslo and his own critically acclaimed two-star restaurant Aimsir in Ireland (now closed), brings the same obsession with quality ingredients, precision and flavour to the smash burger concept.

An instant hit

Since opening in Borough in March, Heard has become an instant hit for locals and visitors alike. Its burgers are made with world-class aged British beef, topped with English cheese and homemade pickles and served in a signature butter-toasted roast potato bun.

The Soho opening represents the next step in Heard’s story, which will see the concept evolve and the menu expand, also marking the introduction of The Soho – its first non-smash burger. The 38-cover venue will occupy 134 square metres and will be split across two levels.

Drinks will continue to play a key part of the Heard dining experience. The wine list has been curated by Bailey’s wife and acclaimed sommelier Majken Bech-Bailey, who has a depth of knowledge in low-intervention wine and independent producers. Uniquely for a burger concept, each dish has been paired with a wine that perfectly complements the flavours, including Majken’s own non-alcoholic BÆK wine, alongside craft beers from London’s Forest Road Brewery and signature cocktails.
