Richoux confirms opening date

Richoux, the London pâtisserie and restaurant founded in 1909, has announced that reservations are now open for its reopening on 15 September.

The concept returns to the London dining scene with a 110-cover restaurant on Regent Street, offering guests a traditional, French-inspired all-day menu.

Designed by Collective Design Studio, the space is an ode to classic French cafés with traditional bistro chairs, rich wood panelling, marble tabletops, vintage artwork and plush navy leather banquettes. There is also a 16-seat terrace for alfresco dining.

A second Richoux site, located in Tower Bridge, will follow soon after, with international launches in Dubai and Saudi Arabia planned for 2026 in partnership with the BBR Group.

Dining at Richoux

The restaurant will offer a changing ‘menu rapide’, designed for quick lunches or pre-theatre dining. Rooted in Parisian café culture, the menu spans breakfast through dinner, combining French classics and international favourites with a focus on quality and provenance.

A variety of French-style starters will be available, including French onion soup served with toasted sourdough, escargot baked in a garlic-parsley butter and a prawn cocktail. For the main event, guests can try dishes such as chicken paillard, lobster thermidor, beef bourguignon, steak frites with peppercorn sauce and more.

Diners can also choose from a curated selection of sandwiches, featuring beloved favourites such as the classic Croque Monsieur and the indulgent Richoux Cheeseburger. For those seeking a lighter option, the restaurant will offer a range of salads, including the crispy duck salad and the Green Goddess salad.

A selection of handcrafted pâtisseries and viennoiseries will be served from the signature trolley, alongside speciality coffees and Parisian-style hot chocolate topped with Chantilly cream.

To complement the culinary offering, guests will be able to enjoy French wines and an impressive cocktail menu featuring signature drinks such as the Madeleine, made with vodka, vanilla and cedro, topped with a madeleine; and the Pêche, a fruity martini crafted with gin, peach wine and acorn.
