Azzurri confirms European rollout of Dave's Hot Chicken
Azzurri Group, the hospitality operator of brands including ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama and Boojum, has signed an exclusive agreement to roll out Dave’s Hot Chicken across Europe.
As part of the new agreement, Azzurri will develop a minimum of 180 Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants across 10 European countries, leveraging a joint venture partnership model to team up with experienced local operators in each market. The list of countries spans Europe and includes territories such as Portugal, Spain and Germany.

The deal builds on the immediate success of Dave’s Hot Chicken’s UK debut, which launched in late 2024 with a flagship location on Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End. The store exceeded expectations in both foot traffic and customer engagement, reinforcing the concept’s growth potential. The store is averaging over 1,000 customers a day.
The chicken shop concept has recently launched in both Birmingham New Street and Printworks Manchester, with both sites performing well. The brand’s distinctive identity and characteristic Nashville-style hot chicken have resonated with UK audiences, and Azzurri is preparing to further scale the business with openings planned for Stevenage and Westfield White City. The operator plans to launch at least 60 UK locations in total.
