Azzurri Group completes successful refinancing

Azzurri Group, the hospitality operator behind brands including ASK Italian, Zizzi, Coco di Mama, Boojum and Dave's Hot Chicken, has successfully refinanced. 

The business now has a four-and-a-half-year facility consisting of a new senior term loan, alongside a new Capital Acquisition Facility and upweighted RCF. 

The facilities deliver enhanced financial flexibility and will support Azzurri's growth strategy, particularly for Dave's Hot Chicken, with plans to grow rapidly across the UK (60 locations) and to launch in Europe in 2026 (180 locations). 

Eyeing up expansion

Azzurri's portfolio combines the established brands of Zizzi and Ask Italian, with the further expansion of Coco di Mama (in travel hubs, supermarkets and delivery-only kitchens) and the youth appeal and rollout opportunities of Boojum and Dave's Hot Chicken. 

Group CEO Steve Holmes comments: "This new facility gives us greater financial flexibility and additional funds to accelerate our ambitious growth strategy, particularly for Dave's Hot Chicken, which we are rolling out across the UK and Europe."
