Ibiza restaurant brand Jul's to launch in London

Jul’s, the Ibiza-born Mediterranean restaurant and bar brand, will arrive in London’s West End early next year, opening at 11 Waterloo Place.

Jul’s was first opening in Ibiza in 2018, created by chef Christos Fotos, Jem Akyuz and his son Ilhan. The group also includes Humain by Jul’s in Athens.

Set within a former bank near St James’s, Jul’s London brings its "elegant dishes and sensory sips" to the UK for the first time.

The food from Fotos is Greek-inspired, with collaborations with farms around London. Dishes will include giouvetsi, flatbread with slow-cooked lamb, and grilled fish over open fire.

A 6.5-metre-tall glass wine wall runs the height of the restaurant’s ground level. The list itself features both classic appellations and boutique producers who champion sustainability, as well as biodynamic and natural wine making.

Beneath the restaurant will be an "open bar laboratory" called No. 11, where bar directors Vasilis Sgouromallis and Dimitris Karapanos will experiment with distillation and infusion, crafting cocktails that reflect the kitchen’s flavour profile.

Jul's London will open early 2026.
