Bank House Chislehurst brings in Sam Carelli

Bank House Chislehurst, the restaurant owned by Stuart and Cecilia Gillies, has appointed Sam Carelli as its new executive chef.

Carelli has previously worked at restaurants including Le Gavroche and Daylesford Organic. He joins Bank House Chislehurst with the launch of a new spring menu, which is now available at the restaurant.

New dishes include roast fillet of Rye Bay hake with prawns, beetroot and tenderstem broccoli finished with brown butter; roast chicken breast with crushed new potatoes, peas, edamame and wild garlic salsa; baked aubergine with miso, honey, sesame and aromatic cous cous; and smoked salmon tagliatelle with leeks and crème fraîche.

Located on Chislehurst High Street in the London Borough of Bromley, Bank House is an all-day neighbourhood restaurant. Its owners, the Gillies, are also behind Number Eight in Sevenoaks.

The duo say Carelli's appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Bank House and the wider group, as they continue to build a collection of destination neighbourhood restaurants within London and beyond.
