Padella prepares for Soho opening
Padella will open its much-anticipated Soho restaurant at 2 Kingly Street on Thursday 16 April, bringing Tim Siadatan and Jordan Frieda’s fresh pasta concept to Soho, a decade since the first Borough opening.
To mark the opening, there will be a two-day soft launch running from Tuesday 14 to Wednesday 15 April, when guests will receive 50% off their entire bill.
"We are pumped to be opening in Soho and bringing our pasta to the neighbourhood," says Siadatan. "It’s a very exciting moment for us."
Background
Padella was born from an ingredient-led approach shaped by Siadatan’s time in some of London’s most influential kitchens, where he trained under Jamie Oliver at Fifteen before going on to cook at St John and Moro.
In 2010, he co-founded Trullo in Highbury & Islington with Jordan Frieda, beginning a long-standing partnership rooted in a shared love of simple Italian cooking.
The menu in Soho will be centred on Padella’s signature hand rolled pastas, a concise selection of antipasti and pudding.
Dishes such as Pici Cacio e Pepe and Pappardelle with eight-hour Hereford beef shin ragu, which have been on the menu since Padella opened in Borough Market a decade ago, will remain a cornerstone.
