Carousel joins forces with Guy Ritchie
This summer, guest chef operators Carousel will once again join forces with Guy Ritchie for the latest edition of its Ashcombe Estate x Carousel series, the luxury, culinary retreat centred around an immersive live-fire feast.
Returning to the Wiltshire countryside for a third year, Ed and Ollie Templeton's Carousel has brought together another mix of guest chef talent to work their magic in the Hollywood director’s lakeside WildKitchen.
Running from May to September 2026, the Ashcombe Estate x Carousel series will offer just 20 guests at a time an English countryside gastronomic experience.
Over 22 weekends, a hand-picked line-up of guest chefs will cook exclusively over fire in the WildKitchen; a canvas-sided, custom-built fire table developed by Ritchie.
Among the highlights this year are Luke Selby (Palé Hall, Gwynedd), Chantelle Nicholson (Apricity, London) and Sabrina Gidda, Alex Claridge (The Wilderness, Birmingham), Rob Roy Cameron (previously ALTA, London and El Bulli, Catalonia) and Joe Otway (Higher Ground, Manchester).
Cooking for one night only, each chef will deliver a one-off tasting menu cooked entirely over flames on the interactive chef’s table, bringing guests together for an intimate outdoor dining experience served lakeside as the sun sets over the estate.
The WildKitchen itself, recognisable from its cameo in Netflix's The Gentlemen, is an alfresco set up designed with temperature control for live-fire cooking.
