Celentano’s to reopen in Arthouse Glasgow

Celentano’s, Anna and Dean Parker’s Glasgow restaurant, has confirmed that it will reopen in new hotel Arthouse Glasgow on 24 June.

The news follows the closure of the duo's original site in Cathedral House, which shut its doors at the end of 2025.

Occupying a 19th century townhouse in the centre of town, Arthouse Glasgow is the first hotel from new British hotel group Oberland. The hotel will offer 76 en-suite bedrooms split across four categories.

Celentano’s at Arthouse will feature a new look and a refreshed menu, while retaining Dean’s ingredient-led, minimal-waste approach.

Produce will often be cooked over embers, and fermentation and preservation methods will continue to be a central focus of the menu, alongside nose-to-tail cookery using whole animals often butchered in-house.

The signature dishes will remain, from seasonally-changing vegetable agnolotti and smoked cod doughnuts with kimchi, to malted barley affogato.

"This version of Celentano’s will feel more like us," says Anna. "What we would have envisaged our restaurant like, before we ever opened Celentano’s. Cathedral House was such a great opportunity for us, but there was a limit on how much we could do with the space. This time we are starting with a blank canvas, and building up a brand new restaurant, working with unbelievably creative people who have the same vision as us."
