Wagamama to launch 26 new menu items
Wagamama has revealed plans to introduce 26 new dishes and drinks as part of a summer menu overhaul, with a key focus on capturing the lunch-to-go crowd.
The Restaurant Group-owned business says the refresh is designed to reflect changing guest habits, flavour trends and demand for "greater flexibility and inclusivity".
Landing in restaurants and on delivery platforms from 17 June 2026, the launch spans a new lunchtime offering, expanded gluten-free range and a seasonal menu inspired by East Asian flavours, with gochujang, seafood and balanced ingredients shaping much of the change.
Convenience is key
At the centre of the launch is a "reimagined lunch experience", created to attract those looking for lunch on the go.
For the first time, Wagamama has transformed some of its dishes into portable lunch formats, including the new chicken katsu wrap and yasai ramen wrap, both served with dipping sauces inspired by the original dishes.
The brand is also introducing a trio of new lunch boxes, including the miso k-chicken lunch box, miso cauliflower lunch box and nasi goreng lunch box.
Alongside the lunch launches, Wagamama’s new summer menu introduces several seasonal dishes such as the chicken + prawn turmeric rice bowl;
gochujang salmon rice bowl; and the signature seafood ramen. Its gluten-free offer has also been expanded through 12 new dishes.
The drinks menu has also been refreshed, with additions including a matcha colada - a blend of matcha, pineapple, coconut milk and apple.
"Our summer and lunch menu brings together the flavours guests already love with fresh new dishes perfect for long summer days and quick, fresh lunches," says Claire Farrant, chief marketing officer at Wagamama. “We know guests want quality, value and variety at lunchtime, so alongside our new express lunch options, we’re continuing to offer our lunch deal - a main and drink for £14 when dining in.”
