Salford to welcome Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana

Mission Mars has announced that it is bringing its Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana brand to Salford for the first time, with a new restaurant opening in Monton village this autumn.

The new pizzeria, located at 237-239 Monton Road, will transform the former Bennetts Furnishers store that has been vacant since 2022, with work now officially underway. The venue will mark Rudy’s 41st restaurant to date. 

To celebrate, the pizzeria is giving away 3,000 pizzas.

"Our very first pizzeria opened in Ancoats back in 2015, so we’re excited to finally be opening our doors in our neighbouring city Salford," says Neal Bates, managing director Rudy’s. "Monton has such a vibrant high street and an amazing food and drink scene, so it feels like the perfect place for us. We can’t wait to become part of the community, say ciao to our new neighbours and celebrate our opening."

Since launching in Manchester's Ancoats, Rudy’s became the largest organisation in the world to be accredited by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN), the international body that protects and promotes traditional Neapolitan pizza making.
