Scott leaves The Hoxton for The Standard

Murray Scott has joined The Standard hotel in London as its new general manager, leaving his position at The Hoxton in Holborn.

Prior to that, Scott led another Hoxton hotel in Shoreditch, as well as holding senior leadership positions at hotels including NH Hotel Group, Bankside Autograph Collection, London Marriott Grosvenor Square, Park Tower Knightsbridge and Sheraton Grand Edinburgh.

"Joining The Standard is an incredible opportunity and one I feel genuinely proud to be taking on," he says. "Throughout my career, I've always believed that the best hotels are built by great people who bring a great culture to guest experiences, and this is something The Standard does exceptionally well."

Under Scott's leadership, the business says it will continue to evolve and strengthen its guest experience while remaining true to the creativity, culture, energy and individuality that defines The Standard brand.
