Refurbished Nando's Northcote Road reopens

A peri-peri chicken restaurant chain has reopened its venue on Northcote Road in Clapham following a 12-week refurbishment.

Nando's Northcote Road has undergone a complete makeover, standing as the company's 15th relaunch of 2024 so far, with further reopenings in the pipeline.

On top of its refreshed look, the venue now has some brand-new kit, including beer on draught, a bottomless iced tea machine and an appliance for frozen cocktails.

South African vibes

Nando's Southern African heritage is reflected over both restaurant floors, with structural light pendants and bespoke fabrics created by South African designers. Hand-made terracotta tiles also feature, bringing the Portuguese interior to life. Artwork from South African artists is also displayed, as part of Nando's ongoing partnership with Spier Arts Trust

Northcote Road general manager, Liz Korwin-Kochanowska, says: "We're excited to be reopening our doors and welcoming fans, old and new, into our restaurant. It looks amazing! With a fresh new look and state of the art equipment, we are ready to get grilling for everyone again."
