The Coconut Tree launching new spring dishes

Sri Lankan restaurant group The Coconut Tree is launching three new street food-inspired dishes this spring.

The recipes will be available from 1 April across the group's nine restaurants in Cheltenham, Bristol, Oxford, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Reading and Bath, as well as the soon-to-open Birmingham branch.

The new dishes include Isso Wade, a popular dish from Colombo with crispy prawn fritters, warm spices and lentils, perfect for dipping into a Sri Lankan curry; Kos Mallum, a vegan dish of stir-fried jackfruit with fragrant chillies, garlic and onion; and 'Salmon, say whaaat?', a Sri Lankan interpretation of the UK's favourite fish, made with coconut milk, garlic, onion, turmeric, curry leaves and chilli.
