Coppa Club to launch Guildford Townhouse next month
Coppa Club has announced that its new venue, The Townhouse Guildford, will open to the public on 11 April. This will be the newest opening for the Coppa Club Group, with two other sites already in Surrey and a further nine around the south east and west of England. The Guildford Townhouse has the same club-ethos as the group's other venues, offering all-day dining, co-working, drinking and socialising under one roof.
The Townhouse, set across three floors, is located in the Burton's building on Guildford high street. The ground floor is a café, bar and workspace, while the middle floor features a brasserie and private dining space, open seven days a week for brunch and lunch through to late-night dining. The menu offers a seasonal take on Mediterranean classics, with vegan, gluten-free and nut-free options available. Dishes include Chalkstream trout with rainbow chard, roasted garlic aioli, basil oil and charred lemon (£18.50); baked spiced aubergine with whipped ricotta, za’atar and pomegranate salad (£13.50); and a selection of pizzas, pastas, steaks and sharing plates. Children are also welcome throughout the day, with a special menu of kid-friendly dishes also available.

On the top floor, guests will find a destination cocktail bar with a carefully-designed cocktail list. The menu will reflect the seasons, featuring an exciting range of cocktails, from unique takes on classics through to the bar’s own mixes. Signature cocktails include the Burton’s Blend, a theatrically-served Old Fashioned cocktail brought to the table in a copper cradle for guests to share.
Yishay Malkov, CEO of Coppa Club, says of the upcoming launch: "We are hugely excited to announce the opening of The Guildford Townhouse in April. We knew there was an appetite to open in Guildford so we are thrilled to have found the perfect space for a Coppa Club in the Burton’s building. We hope it will provide an exciting new offering for the area, a place for guests to enjoy no matter the time of day, for work or play and we look forward to becoming part of the Guildford community."
