The Street Food Championships return!

The Street Food Championships will return to London once again on 7 November 2023. The annual cookery competition, which is organised alongside our sister publication Ooh Magazine, will be held at Big Penny Social, followed by a party and awards ceremony.

The foodie face-off will once again see 16 street food chefs battle it out to win the coveted Street Food Dish of the Year award. Not only that, but they will also battle it out in the Technical round that requires them to use a range of sponsors’ products, and a Wings round, which is sponsored by Major.

We are looking for the very best chefs from the street food, out-of-home, fast-casual and restaurant sectors to compete on the day. If you would like to enter, simply submit your signature street food dish to our panel of expert judges by 8 September 2023.

Last year’s winner, Alex Rodgers from Birria Bandits in Leeds, told us: "I legit have no words. I didn't expect to win! I arrived with just the anticipation of participating and wasn’t expecting a win at all.

"There really were some very big names. There was a lot of good competition and I've made some really good friends – you can guarantee you’ll be seeing some collaborations next year."
