Jamie Oliver launches Pasta Dreams pop-up

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver will tomorrow (13 October) launch Pasta Dreams, a pop-up developed in partnership with delivery concept Taster.

The delivery-first site will open in Archer Street, Soho. It will be open for click-and-collect customers, as well as for orders on UberEats and other major delivery platforms.

Over the coming weeks, Pasta Dreams will be rolled out to further sites across London and other UK cities, with the goal of becoming the nation's number one delivery brand. It also launches tomorrow in France, Taster's original market.

The menu has been crafted with delivery in mind, featuing dishes created by one of the world's best-known chefs. Highlights include mezze maniche, spaghetti alla chitarra, gnocchi, casarecce and ravioli. All suppliers are required to adhere to Oliver's food sourcing standards on sustainability and welfare.

Through Pasta Dreams, Oliver and Taster hope to inspire the next generation of restaurateurs, giving a platform to what they call 'dreamers': ambitious foodies who will win the chance to work with the Jamie Oliver development team, creating seasonal specials to feature on the Pasta Dreams menu. One pound from every collaborative dish sold will be donated to Springboard – a charity that works with young people in hospitality. The Dreamers competition will launch in early 2023 on theb Pasta Dreams Instagram.

"Taking some of my fave Italian dishes and making them ready for delivery has been an epic journey," says Oliver. "By partnering with Taster, we've created a menu that's vibrant and delicious, plus we're giving opportunities to passionate cooks and supporting a brilliant cause. I'm really proud to be launching Pasta Dreams. I know you're gonna love it."
