Wagamama's next restaurant to land in Clarks Village

A Pan-Asian restaurant chain is set to open a new venue at Clarks Village in Somerset in July.

The Restaurant Group-owned brand Wagamama will bring its 50% plant-based menu to Clarks Village visitors, including signature ramen dishes and katsu curries to visitors, also presenting the brand's new summer menu. The seasonal offering features saku saku soba with a choice of shredded duck or crispy pulled shiitake, and crispy otsumami with a choice of beef, salmon or pulled shiitake.

Guests can also expect refreshing summer drinks such as sangria, shiso mojitos and a 'pad Thai' sour cocktail.

The expansion plan advances

Located in Somerset's most popular outlet shopping facility, the restaurant will offer 172 covers, including 40 outdoors. Open seven days a week, the venue will create 60 new jobs and stand as the brand's 167th restaurant in the UK.

Sita Wood, head of regional marketing at Wagamama, comments: "We are so excited to open the doors to our brand-new restaurant in Clarks Village. Our benches will soon be welcoming the local community and visitors of the outlet shopping destination, and we can't wait to serve up some of our newest dishes and fresh favourites! Our fantastic new team has been working hard to ensure we'll bring our much-loved Wagamama experience to our guests and they're so excited to land in their beautiful new restaurant once work is complete."
