Black Bear Burger launches fried chicken concept

London-based brand Black Bear Burger is venturing into fried chicken fried chicken with the new concept 20ft Fried Chicken, sitting in the premium end of the fried chicken market.

20ft Fried Chicken will reside in Market Halls, using the best quality free-range chicken and bespoke sesame demi-brioche buns, with pickles, ferments and sauces all made in-house.

Offering a take on ‘classic’ fried chicken dishes, the menu will focus on buttermilk fried chicken burgers, wings and sides, as well as new dishes such as fried chicken spring rolls.  Hero dishes include: The 20 FT Burger – buttermilk fried chicken with habanero and honey mayo, B&B pickles and slaw; The Big Chill Burger – buttermilk fried chicken with fermented chilli hot sauce, pickled celery, ranch dressing, shredded iceberg and pickles; and the spring roll with fried chicken, cheese and hot sauce in a deep fried wonton, served with pickles and dipping sauce.

The first 20ft Fried Chicken site will be opening in early February, exclusively in Market Halls Oxford Street.
