Wagamama launches first swim-up restaurant
During an event in Brighton this weekend, Wagamama launched the UK's first-ever swim-up restaurant complete with a pop-up beach hut dining experience, as part of the brand's partnership with Mental Health Swims.
Launched this month, the new Dive-In campaign explores the connection between body and mind, drawing a parallel between the rejuvenating feeling of open water swimming and tucking into a steaming bowl of ramen.
The partnership included a donation to the charity and support with a series of swimming events across the country, designed to provide a free, safe space for communities to connect and focus on "dips, not distance".
At the events, attendees can enjoy a swim-up dining experience, tucking into the brand's Korean-inspired menu in pop-up beach huts after their swim.
With more events set to take place across the UK, the collaboration marks the start of a long-term partnership between Wagamama and Mental Health Swims.
"Promoting wellbeing and mindfulness is important to us and that's why we're proud to partner with Mental Health Swims to create a welcoming space where people can connect with their communities, embrace the thrill of open water swimming and enjoy wholesome bowls designed to warm the soul," says Kay Bartlett, chief marketing officer at Wagamama.
