Six by Nico to launch second Manchester location

Restaurant group Six by Nico has revealed plans to launch a second Manchester location this month, with the brand-new outpost set to open in the heart of the city.

Residing on John Dalton Street, the eatery will officially open its doors on 30 November. It will join the group's existing Spring Gardens venue, which debuted in 2019.

After a period of significant growth, with new openings in Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham this year alone, Six by Nico's second Manchester site marks the group's 15th UK launch.

Due to increased demand at the Spring Gardens restaurant, the second site will provide an additional 72 covers. The six-course tasting menu will be priced at £39 per person, with the option to enjoy a drink pairing for an additional £30. A six-course vegetarian menu will also be available.

Founded by chef Nico Simeone, the name 'Six by Nico' tells the story of the core idea: six-course tasting menus that change every six weeks, with dishes inspired by places, memories or imagination.

Since launching in Finnieston in Glasgow in 2017, Six by Nico has established additional locations in Edinburgh, London Fitzrovia, London Canary Wharf, Belfast, Dublin, Aberdeen, Leeds and Cardiff.

"We are very excited to be opening our second venue in the vibrant city of Manchester," says Simeone.

"Since launching in 2019, our Spring Gardens venue has gone from strength to strength, prompting demand for a second site in the heart of the city. The support we have had from the people of Manchester and further afield, as well as the team we have had here since day one, have all helped make a second site possible," he adds.

"Our aim at Six by Nico is to help our guests create memories and stories together, by pushing our creative boundaries with a new menu every six weeks."
