Wagamama launches Aberdeen restaurant

Crowds gathered for the opening of Aberdeen's new and improved Wagamama restaurant on Monday 4 December, with the grand opening event seeing the classic chicken katsu curry coming out on top as the most ordered dish of the day.
Located on Union Square, the extension has been designed to accommodate an additional 80 covers, with the refurbishment creating 20 new jobs for the local workforce.
Alongside chicken katsu, the brand is known for its 'bowl to soul' philosophy and other Korean-inspired dishes including ramen, K-dogs made with a vegan twist, gochujang rice bowls, rotis, mushroom skewers and its first-ever hot pots with a choice of either chicken, steak or tofu.
Milly Pearson, regional marketing manager for the North, comments: "We are so excited to open the doors to our bigger and better restaurant in Aberdeen. Our benches are ready to welcome the local community and visitors to Union Square's shopping destination, and we can't wait to serve up some of our fresh favourites to all. Our fantastic team has been working hard to ensure we can bring our much-loved Wagamama experience to guests and they are so excited to welcome you into their beautiful new restaurant now works are complete."
