The Real Greek launches DIY souvlaki kits

The Real Greek, the UK group of authentic Greek restaurants, has launched DIY souvlaki kits for nationwide delivery.

The kits are a result of a collaboration with Great Food 2U, and mark the operator's first meal kit.

Customers can choose from two options: chicken souvlaki for two priced at £14.00 and a savoury halloumi souvlaki for two priced at £13.50 (plus delivery charges).

The kits come with a set of instructions and all ingredients needed, from homemade tzatziki to the restaurant’s original wrapping paper.

"The business has enjoyed sustained demand throughout 2020 and we are now partnering with Great Food 2U so that more consumers than ever before can enjoy our authentic Greek food. Our DIY Souvlaki Kits mean that Brits will be able to make this iconic Greek dish in the comfort of their own kitchens.” 

The Real Greek was founded in 1999 and has 17 sites.
