Marugame Udon opens at London's O2
Japanese handmade udon kitchen Marugame Udon has offically opened its second London venue at the O2.
Marugame Udon is the world's largest Japanese restaurant brand specialising in handmade udon, broths and tempura. Its new 4,500 sq ft site in the capital has 150 covers across two floors, with a theatrical open kitchen that allows customers to watch their dishes being made, adding to the authentic dining experience.
The restaurant will offer both delivery and click and collect dining options, and is soon to launch a children's menu to reflect the family-friendly feel of the O2.
"Marugame Udon is a fantastic addition to our extensive food and beverage offering at the O2," said Alistair Wood, executive VP of real estate and development at AEG Europe, who own and operate Icon Outlet and the Entertainment District at the O2 alongside Crosstree Real Estate Partners.
"With its fast-paced dining concept, it will fit well with the dynamics of the O2. With the arena now open again and Icon Outlet and Entertainment District all trading well, we look forward to seeing Marugame Udon flourish with us."
