Lina Stores legacy continues with Marylebone restaurant

Lina Stores is preparing to open a venue in a new location next spring, housed in a two-storey building at the entrance to Marylebone Village.

The new development is a milestone for the popular brand, which has been serving high-end Italian products and ingredients to Londoners since 1944, with the new site providing an all-day dining restaurant, delicatessen and bar.

The all-day menu will include signature antipasti using ingredients from the delicatessen, along with signature dishes, a new range of larger sharing pasta dishes and secondi, concluding with a generous dolci offering.

The delicatessen will sell an expanded range of salads, panini, fresh pasta and pizzette which guests may choose to either eat in or takeaway. Strong Italian coffee and freshly baked goods will also be available, along with pasticcini and dolci – including Lina Stores favourites cannoli and baci brownies.

After dark the venue will evolve into a seated wine bar, serving antipasti dishes such as freshly sliced cured meats, formaggi and sharing platters, along with a selection of Italian wines and aperitivi.

On the new restaurant launch, head chef Masha Rener comments: "We're incredibly excited to arrive in beautiful Marylebone Village, an area with many similarities to our first home in Soho. With its neighbourhood feel and strong sense of local community, Marylebone Village is the perfect location for us to open both restaurant and delicatessen for the full Lina Stores experience."
