Izakaya concept coming to Mandarin Oriental

A new drinking and dining venue, The Aubrey, is coming to the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in the new year.
The Aubrey will be an eccentric Izakaya restaurant where dishes blend traditional Japanese cooking techniques with a focus on sustainable, locally-sourced produce, also housing two bars specialising in a range of creative cocktail serves.
The venue will replace Bar Boulud, and represents the debut UK venture for Maximal Concepts – a multi award-winning international restaurant group with roots in Hong Kong.
As with most sites from the group, The Aubrey London promises a fully immersive experience where art and design meets high-quality drinking and dining.
