10th UK restaurant coming for Sticks'n'Sushi

Danish-owned, Japanese restaurant group Sticks'n'Sushi has confirmed that its 10th UK restaurant will open in December at Westfield, London.

Sticks'n'Sushi White City will be the group's eighth opening in the city, joining existing venues in Wimbledon, Covent Garden, Greewich, Canary Wharf, Victoria, King's Road Chelsea and Soho. Outside of London, the group also has branches in Oxford and Cambridge.

The 10th opening marks the 10th anniversary of the group's first UK opening. The restaurant will create 50 new jobs across all operations, on top of providing additional opportunities for current Sticks'n'Sushi employees.

Located near the main entrance of Westfield London, the new 120-cover venue will spread across two floors, drawing inspiration from both Japanese minimalism and Danish hygge, known as 'Japandi', to create a warm and welcoming space. As with other Sticks'n'Sushi venues, the restaurant will feature an open kitchen, allowing guests to experience the food preparation process in real-time.

The menu will offer the group's signature combination of traditional sushi and yakitori sticks from the grill, retaining guest favourites such as 'Ebi Bites' and popular 'Hotate Kataifi', made with scallops, miso aioli and trout roe.

Guests will be able to finish their meal with one of the brand's unique drink offerings, which includes Japanese-inspired cocktails, sake and a range of Japanese teas.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, with both delivery and collection available.

"We are delighted to be able to open another restaurant where we can welcome new and loyal guests," says Andreas Karlsson, CEO of Sticks'n'Sushi. "This is a testament to our exceptional teams across the group who all contribute to our ongoing success. We are particularly proud to bbe able to create many more jobs and opportunities for our employees."
