The Ivy Asia is coming to Leeds

The Ivy Asia is coming to Leeds this Autumn, creating 110 jobs for the local community and expanding the Yorkshire dining scene. 

Located on Vicar Lane above its sister restaurant, The Ivy Victoria Quarter, the new venue will be open seven days a week, serving The Ivy's signature dishes and theatrical cocktails.

Adorned with cherry blossoms, bespoke artwork and furnishings and green onyx flooring, The Ivy Asia, Leeds, will strive to provide an atmospheric setting where guests can drink and dine. 

From light lunch to afternoon tea, dinner and weekend brunch, the venue's expansive menu is overseen by executive chef Simon Gregory. The food offering is largely based around small plates and sharing dishes, including seafood platters and smoked, barbequed lamb rumps; to vegetarian and plant-based options such as chilli noodles with Japanese mushrooms, asparagus, cashew nuts and lime; and spinach and mushroom gyoza with ginger dashi and black truffle. 

Favourites from the brand's sister restaurants will also be offered, including an extensive sushi and sashimi selection. A lunch stack set menu will also be available, including fresh mizuna and cucumber salad; hot and sour chicken with plum, spring onion and cashew; avocado, cucumber and asparagus sushi; and spiced salmon with shiso leaf, green pickled onions and sesame, with the option to add a dessert. 

A diverse cocktail offering will feature, designed to immerse diners in the tastes of the world's largest continent. On top of such serves as the Beijing Matcha Smash, the menu will include an array of sakes, wines, champagnes and King speciality Asian teas. 

Commenting on the upcoming launch, Laura Mills, chief operating officer of The Ivy Collection and Leeds native, comments: "We're incredibly excited to be bringing The Ivy Asia to Leeds, the first in Yorkshire.
