Burger & Lobster to relaunch Soho site
London-based restaurant group Burger & Lobster will relaunch its Soho restaurant next month, opening in early November with a new look and fresh additions to the menu.
Having marked the milestone of 10 years in the capital last year, Burger & Lobster is now revamping its Dean Street site. While the menu will remain largely the same, with classic dishes such as its Nebraskan-Irish beef burgers and lobster rolls set to stay, the team is taking the opportunity to launch some new choices.
Lobster tempura tails, served with kimchi mayo and seaweed salt, will join the list, along with its new lobster mac and cheese, in a rich lobster bechamel sauce. The burger and lobster combos for those who can’t decide will still be part of the menu and remain the nine-strong brand's most popular dishes. The team has also redesgined its cocktail menu for the relaunch, with some tipples inspired by the buzz of its surroundings, including the Dean Street Margarita and The Liberty.
The brand will be reopening the site at the start of November
Quality and simplicity has always been at the heart of Burger & Lobster, it says, an ethos which is reflected in the makeover. “The contemporary navy blue colour palette was inspired by the coastline of Nova Scotia, where the brand’s lobsters are freshly caught," says Geila Daughtrey of Rockett Studio, the mastermind behind the refresh.
Dino Sura, managing director of Burger & Lobster, says: “Celebrating a decade of Burger & Lobster was a remarkable achievement for us, and what better time for a revamp. While our mantra of high quality food and service will absolutely remain the same, we are looking forward to the future and ultimately investing in our spaces, and we can’t wait to witness the enhanced experience our customers are going to feel when they walk through the new doors of our Soho branch later this month.”
Earlier this month, the group reported a turnover of £22.8m, up 40% on 2021.
