Burger & Lobster founder opens new restaurant

Misha Zelman, founder of restaurant chain and National Burger Awards finalist Burger & Lobster, has opened a new, multi-cuisine restaurant concept and grocer, Nebya. The eatery has been launched alongside business partner and co-founder, Ben Hadley.

Zelman's new restaurant brings celebrity and Michelin-starred chefs together to create a collaborative menu under one roof. Dine-in and takeaway dishes will be devised by the likes of Tony Singh MBE (south and north Indian curries), Miguel Barclay (Miguel's Pizza), Yoko Nakada (Makes Miso Hungry) and sushi master Endo Kazotushi (Japanese), who has created a dish available for takeaway and delivery only.

As well as minimising food waste, the neighbourhood store concept has been designed to save people time, allowing customers to dine in or order a takeaway and pick up everyday grocery staples at the same time. Consumers can also purchase any item or product from the comfort of their home, exclusively on Deliveroo.

The dine-in offering differs from Zelman and Hadley's previous endeavours with full service and Michelin-starred restaurants, offering a more relaxed feel with cutomers eating out of disposable, compostable containers.

"We’re excited about the launch of Neyba bringing not only fully prepared meals that are focused on delivery and eating on the go, but to bring individual grocery elements to our neighbours’ homes," says Zelman.

"Our goal is to stop unnecessary food wastage from the weekly shop. Ordering food for that night and adding some grocery essentials from us will save our neighbours time, money and bring great ingredients and flavours into their homes."
