Gaucho to open Liverpool restaurant

Restaurant group Gaucho is heading to the north west, with its latest site set to open its doors in a former banking hall in Liverpool.

Based in a Grade II listed property, the new restaurant, on the city's Water Street, will be split over two floors and will take inspiration from the tango clubs of Buenos Aires.

The 17-strong steak-based concept says the new restaurant will have touches of faded glamour and layering of South American details, with features such as the island bar aiming to create an immersive social experience.

Gaucho Liverpool will open in November.
