Beefeater opens newest site in Worksop

Whitbread's Beefeater brand is growing its estate to 175 grill-houses with the opening of The Dukes in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.

On 15 November, The Dukes will become the first new Beefeater restaurant to open in over a year. The brand itself was conceived in 1974 and has been serving guests for almost half a century.

Located in the retail park on High Grounds Road, the 130-cover restaurant and bar has an additional 54 covers in the garden. The space will feature deep yellow leather banquette seating and group dining tables, along with an open kitchen framed with wooden panelling and warm coloured walls.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, menus focus on delivering high quality and big flavour dishes, fresh from the grill, including 30-day aged steaks from British and Irish farms. Value for money is a pillar of the offering, with buffet-style breakfasts starting from £7.50, three-course kids' menus at £5.99 and a Sunday roast with all the trimmings from £12.99.

Rebecca Donaldson from Whitbread Restaurants says of the launch: "We are delighted to be joining the local community of Worksop with the opening of our latest grill-house. The new site marks Beefeater's first opening in over a year and is a welcome addition to the brand as we continue to grow across the UK. The team are looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming in guests and their families soon."
