The Real Greek to open first venue in Scotland

On Monday 12 December, The Real Greek will open its first site in Scotland, in St James Quarter. A new district in the city centre of Edinburgh, St James Quarter boasts a world-class retail, dining and leisure offering, with a W Hotel, Roomzzz Aparthotel and a residential development still to launch.

The opening marks the group’s fifth new restaurant launch of 2022, following new locations in popular UK cities including Manchester, Newcastle, Solihull and Gloucester. The move outlines the brand’s continued expansion and desire to serve up contemporary Aegean dining experiences across the UK.

The Real Greek Edinburgh will open with an exciting special offer available on the 12th December. In-restaurant diners will receive 50% off food from the main menu. The new 140-cover site offers indoor seating and a Click & Collect offering, standing as the first Greek restaurant in The Quarter.

Nabil Mankarious, managing director at The Real Greek, says of the upcoming opening: "2022 has been a landmark year for The Real Greek, with a particular focus on openings in the North of England. Not only have we opened our first Northern England property this year, but now we are expanding into Scotland, with ambitious growth plans to roll out more restaurants in this fantastic country. We’re very excited about the future of The Real Greek in Scotland."

This will be The Real Greek’s 26th site and the group's 14th outlet outside of the capital. Following strong demand for authentic Greek cuisine, The Real Greek continues to expand its portfolio of restaurants around the country, with future openings in Scotland already in the pipeline.
