Restaurant Story to open in January

Tom Sellers' two Michelin-star concept Restaurant Story, housed in a former Victorian public toilet block in Bermondsey, will reopen on 12 January.

Restaurant Story has been closed for refurbishment since February. The project included the construction of an upper level with an outdoor balcony.

The new second floor will also comprise a lounge area that seats six to eight guests, along with a new open kitchen. Overlooking the kitchen will be a large 14-seater table – the largest in the restaurant's history, available for both public and private use. The upper level will also offer views of The Shard and will facilitate the expansion of the venue's wine programme.

Works on Restaurant Story have coincided with the launch of two new venues, also led by Sellers, including Story Cellar in Neal's Yard and Dovetale in Mayfair.
