The Silver Birch hires junior sommelier

A modern European restaurant in Chiswick has announced the addition of a new junior sommelier to the team.

Sam Roberts has been appointed to the role at The Silver Birch in Chiswick. With a passion for wine, honed from his upbringing in France and experience in his family's catering and events business, Roberts brings a blend of traditional expertise and innovative vision to the position. 

Having been mentored by Tanguy Martin of Roberson Wine, former UK sommelier of the year, Roberts is keen to curate an exceptional wine list for the restaurant. His training under Martin's guidance has prepared him to navigate the diverse world of wines with an expert palate and a discerning eye for quality. 

The Silver Birch owner Tim Price comments: "We are delighted to welcome Sam Roberts to our team.
