Banana Tree expands to Stevenage

A Pan-Asian restaurant chain that is preparing to launch its latest branch in Stevenage is celebrating the opening by giving away 1,000 free katsu curries to guests.

Banana Tree, famed for its Pad Thai, ramen and cocktails, officially opens the new site on Friday, 26 July.

Located close to Stevenage Leisure Park, the new site is the brand's first to include a dedicated feature bar area, while the restaurant offers 210 covers inside and 35 outdoors.

Growing the Banana Tree footprint

The opening brings The Big Table Group-owned brand's estate to 21 venues nationwide. It offers an all-day menu that takes guests on a tour through Southeast Asian cuisine, on top of brand-new cocktails such as the Banana Tree Daiquiri and Jungle Bird.

Tom Patrick, marketing director for Banana Tree, says of the upcoming launch: "We're really excited to open our new restaurant in Stevenage and it's our first location in a leisure park, so we know we'll be perfect for pre- or post-cinema dining, or just as a great food destination. We also have a dedicated bar space where you can sip on our 2-4-1 mocktails or cocktails, pre- or post-dining."
