Glebe Farm launches oat drink for tea

Glebe Farm Foods has launched its latest plant-based innovation – PureOaty Tea-rrific.

Despite tea being the leading use of milk in the UK, there has been a lack of oat-based alternatives designed to enjoy with the drink. While other oat brands have had a laser focus on innovating around coffee – a smaller consumption occasion for milk when compared to tea, at 28% versus 48% – Glebe Farm Foods has developed an oat-based accompaniment specifically designed for the beverage.

Research shows that the wider adoption of milk alternatives in tea is hindered by fear of affecting the taste and colour and by concerns about splitting. After extensive development, the 'oat experts' at Glebe Farm Foods have produced this gluten-free recipe, addressing taste, colour and stability.

Philip Rayner, owner and MD of Glebe Farm Foods, comments: "We're incredibly proud to introduce 'Tea-rrific' to the market. We saw a clear need for a high-quality, plant-based alternative that could truly enhance the tea-drinking experience. Our team has worked tirelessly to perfect this product, and we believe it will set a new standard for oat drinks in tea."
