Yard Sale teams up with Asma Khan for Christmas collab

Yard Sale has joined forces with restaurateur, author and founder of Darjeeling Express, Asma Khan, to launch a festive pizza, available across all restaurants from 4 December to 7 January. 

‘Asma Khan’s Christmas Special’ will be topped with beef keema mattar on a classic tomato and mozzarella base, then finished with fresh mint. Veggies and vegans will also be catered for with a plant-based version of keema mattar, with a plant-based mozzarella used in the vegan version. The special will be served with coriander and mint raita dip. 

Pioneering partnerships

Yard Sale is known throughout London's pizza scene for leading the charge with its culinary collaborations. The Khan collab follows on from a trail of iconic partnerships including the likes of Roti King, Ottolenghi and most recently Slutty Cheff. 

Asma Khan is the driving force behind the Indian restaurant concept Darjeeling Express, working in an all-female kitchen alongside chefs from India and Nepal.

As well as the special, Yard Sale will run its annual Secret Santa raffle, where customers can add an extra £1 donation to their online order for a chance to win a YSP Black Card and a selection of other prizes.

A donation from every Christmas Special sold will go to the World Food Programme (WFP), for which Khan is a chef advocate. WFP operates in over 120 countries and territories and supplies life-saving food to people in need.
